Responsibilities and Skills
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with clients, customers, and team members. Deliver persuasive presentations and pitches, negotiate contracts, and build strong relationships with key clients, business leaders, and customers.
- Strong strategic thinking skills, including the ability to identify and evaluate opportunities, develop and implement sales plans, and adapt to changes in a market.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make informed decisions using relevant information, also to develop and implement data-driven sales strategies that align with the company’s goals.
- A client-focused mindset to understand the requirements and preferences of different groups of customers to deliver solutions that address those needs.
- Extensive sales experience, including an understanding of the entire sales process. This includes pipeline management and deal closure strategies.
- Strong understanding of the industry to identify market trends, unique characteristics of competitive landscapes, and specific customer needs.
- Effective time management to prioritize workflows to meet deadlines consistently while achieving sales targets.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and are willing to try new strategies and techniques may be more successful in their careers. Quickly adjust your approaches and strategies to meet evolving customer needs and market conditions.
- Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized sales strategies.
- Maintain knowledge of all services offerings of the company.
- Manage high volume of phone calls and provide response to all maintaining high quality of services and performance standards.
- Facilitate sales of all services according to company and client requirements.
- Coordinate with clients and avoid any discontinuation from his or her end.
- Administer all clients complaints and ensure timely resolution within required guidelines.
- Perform troubleshooting on all client service issues and schedule all field service calls as required.
Manage and process and correspondence with clients. - Schedule all client appointments according to procedures and document all customer transactions and prepare required paperwork.
- Prepare all new contracts and handle all incoming calls for the same.
Analyze all client requirements and assist to prepare all service contracts and facilitate sales for the same. - Supervise all online chat sales calls for clients.
- Proven sales skills as an ability to upsell and cross-sell.
- Collaborate with appropriate team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
Experience
- 5-9 years of experience in Sales function performing roles like – Tele-calling, doing hands-on sales, managing sales teams, working in India as well as global markets (and successfully generating revenue from these markets)
- 5+ years of software sales experience with 2+ years of Mobile applications experience
- 2+ years of experience in performing the Head of Sales role
- Proven experience as a Business Development Executive or relevant role in the IT Industry.
